Introducing: Looks Like Miaou (FR)
Extremely pleased to announce that BV will be releasing the first LP from French duo Looks Like Miaou later this month. I first came in contact with Looks Like Miaou’s music when my friend Sian returned from her rambling days in the continent of Europe. Introducing: Martyr Privates
Forming in early 2011, Martyr Privates were conceived holed up in a storage shed in the Brisbane suburb of Milton while half of the city (and most of Milton) was underwater. There they wrote a collection of songs that would eventually become their debut 7”, due for release on Bon Voyage in February 2012. The 7” is a double A-side of slow-release repetition and pharm-house blues.
