Introducing: Looks Like Miaou (FR)
Extremely pleased to announce that BV will be releasing the first LP from French duo Looks Like Miaou later this month. I first came in contact with Looks Like Miaou’s music when my friend Sian returned from her rambling days in the continent of Europe. She told me about this group of lifestyle punks she’d met hitching, living in a secluded village near Marseille. They seemed...

It's here! It's finally here.
You can order the new Martyr Privates 7” now, and it’ll ship early next week. Here ya go…  “If you’re a fan of Spacemen 3 and even some early Brian Jonestown Massacre, you’re going to dig the two tracks ‘Bless‘, and ‘Native Son’. Introducing: Martyr Privates
Forming in early 2011, Martyr Privates were conceived holed up in a storage shed in the Brisbane suburb of Milton while half of the city (and most of Milton) was underwater. There they wrote a collection of songs that would eventually become their debut 7”, due for release on Bon Voyage in February 2012. The 7” is a double A-side of slow-release repetition and pharm-house blues.
